VERY VERY Different! These lamps really are unusual, and not at all expensive!

When switched off they look like an item from the set of a 1960s/70s sci-fi film or program. A purple-rimmed, translucent ‘flying-saucer' shaped lampshade covering the two 15 watt bulbs that provide the lighting

The support for the shade consists of a set of zig zag chrome square-section rods which appear to almost intertwine. All this looks very attractive in itself but then switch it on and the whole thing comes to life!

The zig-zag rods turn on their own axis whilst rotating around the centre, creating a forever changing pattern of intermingling chrome! They look like they are perpetually just about to tangle but they never do!

Oh yes, the light looks good too n a darkened room, the rotating chrome helps create a 'mirror-ball' effect!

Measures 18 inches (46cm) high, x 10 inches (26cm) diameter across the shade, and 6 inches (15cm) diameter across the base. Fitted with a UK style 13 amp plug (easily changeable!) and an in-line switch.
